{"id":25,"date":"2010-06-20T12:04:12","date_gmt":"2010-06-20T12:04:12","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/baulkolites.com\/wp\/?p=4"},"modified":"2010-06-20T12:04:12","modified_gmt":"2010-06-20T12:04:12","slug":"controller-design-48ch-dmx-dc-controller","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/mynoellights.com\/blog\/?p=25","title":{"rendered":"Controller Design &#8211; 48ch DMX DC controller"},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"text-align: center;\">I just love it when things all come together!\u00a0 My mega tree will consist of 16 <span style=\"color: #ff0000;\"><strong>Red<\/strong><\/span>, <span style=\"color: #00ff00;\"><strong>Green<\/strong><\/span> and <strong><span style=\"color: #3366ff;\">Blue<\/span><\/strong> LEDs Strings 4 meters long.\u00a0 They were purchased towards the end of last years season from Big -W.\u00a0 Members on <a title=\"Do I tYourself Christmas\" href=\"http:\/\/doityourselfchristmas.com\/\" target=\"_blank\">DoItYourselfChristmas.com<\/a> also helped out filling in missing strings, thanks to (Polar Bear and wjohn).\u00a0 Each string operates at 36v.\u00a0 Current limiting resistors have been placed in series with the LEDs. Below is the base plate, 4mm Alum (from Offcuts galore) with the 36V 350W SMPS and 3x DC Serial Solid State Relays.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/baulkolites.com\/wp\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/06\/mega-controller1_700x800.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" class=\"aligncenter size-medium wp-image-23\" title=\"mega-controller1_700x800\" src=\"http:\/\/baulkolites.com\/wp\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/06\/mega-controller1_700x800-287x300.jpg\" alt=\"Dc Serial SSRs\" width=\"287\" height=\"300\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>The heart of the tree&#8217;s light control will be my own DMX controller.\u00a0 Expandable able to 64 channel, only 48 are being fitted for this year.\u00a0 I may add <strong><span style=\"color: #ffffff;\">White<\/span><\/strong> next year, we will just wait and see.
